Lessons from a 9-figure badass + Alex Hormozi Mastermind πŸ“Ή

Hi Income Flippers,

It's been a busy two weeks.

I was in Orlando for the BiggerPockets conference and then off to Knoxville, TN for the Summit in the Smokies.

Recently, I have been leaving my bubble of Northern Virginia to learn and grow from some of the best in the business all across the US.

Leaving the day-to-day of the business "tests my systems" and reveals areas that need improvement.

Remember β€”the goal of the business is to work for you, not the other way around.

In this newsletter, in 5 minutes or less, I am going to share some lessons I learned on my travels.

BPCon 2023

First, let me just say that the BiggerPockets conference was awesome!!!

They know how to do it right and I'm excited to attend their next event in Cancun.

This year, David Osborn was the Keynote Speaker at BPCon 2023 and this is what this 9 Figure Entrepreneur had to say:

1) Create a vivid vision of your life.

Find a quiet place that inspires you and write down everything you see.

The goal is to create your future and lead yourself into it.

You are choosing the life you want to live.

You are becoming.

2) Write down goals that inspire you in the following 8 areas (he calls these the 8 gardens):

Then track your habits in each of these areas and review them daily.

Remember β€”you are what you do, not what you say you are going to do.

You are crafting your destiny when you do this.

Put your goals in a place that becomes visible to you daily (I like the shower!)

3) Build a community of people around you that will support your goals.

- Have an accountability partner who will take it as seriously as you do and talk every Friday.
- Build a pod of 4 to 5 people. They become your board of directors.
- The final thought was that your vision, goals, and habits are the scaffolding for your life.

So the question becomes - do you know what you are building?

I presented my new training, The Income Flip this past week in Knoxville.

It's the first time I have ever used and followed slides in the manner that I did.

I followed something that Alex Hormozi, author of $100 Million Dollar Leads, suggested: "Provide 1 key concept per slide."

He learned them from David Philip Jones who did a Ted Talk called Death by PowerPoint.

I give myself a solid C+.

I was told it was good by multiple people but I didn't feel like I nailed it and I see a ton of opportunity to make it better.

By the way...If you want to get a copy of the slides, you can grab them here. They are a work in progress but 90% there.

Talking about Alex Hormozi, I promised in early October that I was going to host a mastermind around his book $100 Million Dollar Leads.

It's absolutely free. I hope you can join us.

Keep moving forward,

P.S. I am looking for people who LOVE real estate investing who want to build their brand as the investor voice in their market, grow their influence, increase their deal flow, and help others build wealth by building a hyperlocal real estate investor community in their area.

If that's you, book a quick 20-minute call with me here, and let's chat more about the opportunity.
