10X your lead gen machine ⚙
What's up Income Flippers!
Today I want to talk to you about content creation as a lead generation strategy.
You see, 2 years ago I attended the Traffic and Conversion conference and the message was clear.
Do more.
And yesterday, as I was consuming some Gary Vee content, in classic Gary Vee fashion he said "I can't understand why aren't doing more...attention is a digital currency."
It reminded me of the importance of 10x my content machine.
In this newsletter in 5 min or less, I will document what I'm thinking when it comes to creating and distributing content.
1) Attention is FREE.
I have the ability to build a brand for free. This is insane. I am not maximizing this!
2) Produce more content.
What is stopping me from doing more?
Time?
Fear?
Knowledge?
Execution?
As I reflect on this, I realize I am not executing my plan.
I have bullshit reasons that are blocking me and I need to just make it happen.
3) Be contextual to the platform.
I need to be better about speaking directly to the audience on the platform.
Example:
If I am looking for GRID Leadership I need to be on Linkedin or YouTube short. LinkedIn for business acts like Facebook in 2013.
This is the underpriced attention. Take advantage of this.
I can run ads against LinkedIn content and generate a huge reach. Do this now!
Next in line would be Facebook and then X.
Instagram comes in a distant 5th.
My general consumers for our real estate business (ages 25 - 55) tend to be on Facebook.
The attention there is currently underpriced.
I need to do a better job of documenting our client's journey.
Develop a strategy for TikTok.
I'm a hot mess on that platform.
The same goes for X.
This is all contextual.
4) Don't be boring!
I get the opportunity to be creative.
Stop being boring.
Experiment.
5) Diversify my content.
All things get stale.
I need to change things up to stay relevant.
6) Be obsessed with the game.
The best YouTubers spend a lot of time and money developing thumbnails.
They then deliver on the hook in the first 3 seconds.
I'm not being obsessed with the game.
Be obsessed!
7) Be me! Give them exactly who I am and how I think.
Don't be shy.
Tell it how I see it.
8) Document, don't create.
Document as much as possible.
Now stop being a little baby and go do it!
